User preferences

The following settings affect all dashboards when you are logged in with your user name.

To set user preferences

  1. In the upper-right corner of Salient Dashboards, click and select User Settings.

  2. In the User Preferences dialog, select from the following options

Option

Explanation

Always Confirm Before Closing Window

Check this option if you want to receive a confirmation before closing a widget.

Currency Table

Select the currency table used to convert the currency data to the desired currency or None to leave in the dataset's primary currency. The currency table affects all dashboards and widgets.

Home Page

Select the page to display after login: portal dashboard, home dashboard, or a blank dashboard.

Tip: In some cases, such as an interrupted session, Salient Dashboards may attempt to restore your last-visited dashboard rather than going to the home page selected here.
